11.11.2015 | Lumex is participating at MEC11 Mercury Emission from Coal workshop, Chennai, India

Clean Coal Centre (CCC) of International Energy Agency (IEA) organizes regular meetings of experts on mercury pollutions due to coal combustion - МЕС (Mercury Emission from Coal) starting from 2003.

These meetings were organized in Europe (Scotland, Poland, Slovenia), North America (Canada), Asia (Japan), Australia and South Africa.

These meetings are held in order to provide direct communication of international experts representing energy sector, governmental bodies, research institutes and commercial companies for discussing common problem of mercury emission into environment during coal combustion.

In 2015, this meeting is to be held in Chennai, India.

LUMEX participates in MEC meetings since 2006. In 2012, MEC-9 was held in St.-Petersburg, Russia. LUMEX took part in organizing this meeting.

In 2015, we will present a report on determination of total mercury content and mercury thermospecies in coal.
